This production shows the major works of pre-cast movement during a single day.
The film was created utilizing two on the ground videographers with a total of 8 cameras placed around the site allowing for flexibility over this short 12 hour filming window. It captured the movement of a precast concrete bridge which was driven in by Mammoet SPMTs with the railway fully operational.
The new line will provide a pull in for freight rail, in order to keep the rest of the line operating at full speed for passenger transportation and is part of Network Rail’s continual improvement works across the infrastructure.
Inside Out Time Lapse Productions would like to thank Network Rail, Carillion and all of the staff on site for all their support and cooperation during the filming. A great working partnership which has achieved the desired results.
